journey from then to now

My full name is Chelsea Dawn Petersen Lopez. I was born in 1988 to Russ and Billie Jo Petersen. I have two brothers, Terren and Nathaniel, and one sister, Savannah. The family order goes Me, Terren, Savannah, and then Nathaniel. I grew up in Winder, ID. It is a little farm community seven miles north of Preston, ID.
I have a strong passion for riding horses and hunting. I just completely enjoy being in the mountains or just outdoors in general. I love trying new things and being thrown insanely out of my element. I get antsy with life when I have reached that comfort level many people seek for. I crave for adventure and suprises.
I am a complete nut for a county fair. I just love the atmosphere and all the memories it brings with it, and the frighteningly fattening fair food! I grew up doing 4-H and FFA and we always raised a lamb for the fair!
My dream job would to be to work for the BLM in their Wild Horse and Burro program. I sold my throughbred for a wild mustang when I was eleven and I will never ever forget that experience. To earn the trust of a wild animal is just exhilerating!
Throughout my teen years I had a plethera of different jobs such as moving chickens for the Ritewood Egg farm (that was such a sucky job!!), milking cows for $3 dollars an hour (cows are the dumbest animals, I certainly don't mind a good steak), tour guide for the Minnetonka Cave in Bear Lake (best job ever!), Subway, campground maintenance for Scenic Canyons ( I maintained all the campgrounds through Logan Canyon), and the job I graduated highschool with was a pizza delivery girl for Smokey Joe's. I recieved more in tips than my minimum wage, freakin awesome! I especially loved delievering to the town bars cause drunk men are the best tippers!
I started dating Jesse Lopez my junior year in highschool, February 2005. We fell in love and knew we would be with each other forever. We moved in toghether which was way tough at times I thought we would rip each other to pieces. It is hard to adjust to life with someone but we weathered the storm and decided we still wanted to be married and we had our wedding at the Winder churchhouse on September 22, 2006. We had a small wedding and then we headed off to the BAHAMAS for our romance packed honeymoon on a cruise ship for five days.
After our honeymoon we shortly moved to Provo, UT cause we got jobs working for the union at the Micron-Intel plant in Lehi, UT. It was a construction job. We have had many great jobs toghether. The summer of 2007 we managed a Jet Ski and Boat Rental place at a resort in Bear Lake. That was so fun, I just hung out in a bikini all summer and we lived in this shack right on the beach. So many good times! Then the summer of 2008 we moved to Wyoming and we mapped noxious weeds on a gps for the county. We had to hike 10-12 miles each day alone, except I took my dog with me. It was a great job until it warmed up and all the rattlesnakes came out! Wyoming is just crawling with rattlesnakes and they don't do that whole shake their rattles at you thing until you are within strike distance and they are pissed and want nothing more than to sink their fangs into your flesh. Yuck, they are so gross and freaky!
We purchased a home in Lewiston, UT on October of 2007. It is so beautiful and I have two huge pastures and a gigantic backyard. I just love it! We have two dogs a golden retriever, Nala, and a german shepherd, Cleo. They are my babies. Jesse is going to Utah State to get a degree in Electrical Engineering and I was going to school but have since stopped cause it is just to much to handle with a mortgage to worry about, but I will go back once I get Jesse through his program. I currently work at Phat Lashes salon in Logan, UT. I do eyelash extenstions. It is a great job.
So that is sum up of me and my life to this point. I am glad to have gotten that over now I can look forward to writing fun and new posts about the here and now.
